Android 17 (One UI 9) on a Galaxy S26
As Galaxy users around the world wait for Samsung to bring One UI 9 (Android 17) to their devices, someone has managed to get hold of a One UI 9.5 firmware for the Galaxy S26 and get it up and running.
Fahad Ali Javed posted screenshots of One UI 9.5 from a Galaxy S26 on X, and for those wondering, this is the real deal. Samsung hasn't officially confirmed anything about One UI 9.5, but we can now expect to learn about some of the new features the update will bring.
Fahad hasn't shared details about the changes and features in One UI 9.5 at the time of writing, but we can expect that to change very soon. Like One UI 8.5, we expect One UI 9.5 to be a bigger and more exciting update in terms of new features than One UI 9.0.

However, it's unlikely that the firmware in question includes everything that will be available in the final version of One UI 9.5 when it makes its official debut with the Galaxy S27 series next year.
Samsung will probably launch a One UI 9.5 beta for the Galaxy S26 series towards the end of the year, giving users a chance to test the new software and provide feedback ahead of the stable release.
