Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra
Samsung has released new software updates for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and the Galaxy Z Fold 8. They bring the August 2026 security patch, which fixes 56 security issues present in the previous firmware, making the two phones more secure than before.
Samsung is rolling out the updates first in its home country, South Korea. The update for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is 556.55MB in size and carries firmware versions F976NKSS2AZH7 and F971NKSS2AZH7, respectively.
We expect Samsung to release these updates in other countries over the next few days. To check their availability and get them, go to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.
This is the second software update for the two phones since they reached media houses, with the first one offering stability and reliability improvements for improved device behavior.
Samsung is expected to release one more update for the two phones this month, which will bring improvements to thermal management.
