Samsung will include the Galaxy S25 FE in the One UI 9.0 (Android 17) beta, according to tipster Tarun Vats.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S FE lineup back in 2020 to offer consumers the flagship Galaxy S experience at a cheaper price. Until last year, however, one privilege FE users weren't offered was the chance to test new One UI versions before their stable release.
That changed with One UI 8.5, when Samsung opened beta testing to the Galaxy S25 FE, S24 FE, and S23 FE. And if this rumor is accurate, the Galaxy S25 FE will also be invited to participate with One UI 9.0. Samsung will hopefully include older Galaxy S FE models too.
According to Vats, the beta will be available in the UK, Korea, and India. That probably isn't the final list, however. At least the USA will likely be eligible as well. That said, we will have to wait for confirmation from Samsung when it announces One UI 9 beta availability for devices beyond the Galaxy S26 series.
We recently spotted Samsung creating One UI 9 beta pages for the Galaxy S25 series on its community forums, so the company could bring the beta to more devices before mid-July.
