Samsung has teamed up with Sony to promote its latest foldable phones alongside the studio's upcoming superhero movie, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, set to hit theaters on July 31.
The company has started to integrate this collaboration into its promotional materials for the upcoming foldables, with the latest giving a subtle nod to the brand new wider Galaxy Z Fold 8 foldable.
Samsung is due to launch two Z Fold models this year. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is the successor to last year's Galaxy Z Fold 7. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is an entirely new model that has a wider form factor. Leaked images have already shown us what it may look like.
The company has posted a link to its reservations page for the upcoming devices on its US X account. The post includes an image of Spider-Man's hand shooting some web over at what appears to be the wider Galaxy Z Fold 8 “The drop of the summer is almost within reach,” the post reads.
The company has already revealed that its foldables will feature prominently in the new movie. Peter Parker will use a Galaxy Z Flip 7 in the film while his best friend Ned Leeds will use a Galaxy Z Fold 7 and a Galaxy Watch.
