A couple of years ago, Samsung introduced Ocean Mode with the Galaxy S24 Ultra, but it was initially limited to oceanographers to help with coral reef restoration efforts. Earlier this year, the company brought it to all Galaxy S26 Ultra users and then expanded it to the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Now, Samsung is bringing it to the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Samsung has released a new update to the Expert RAW app (version 5.0.08.2), bringing Ocean Mode to the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The feature works with the ultrawide, primary, and telephoto cameras. You can download or update the Expert RAW app from the Galaxy Store.
On the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Ocean Mode is not available in the stock Camera app and only available when the device is folded.

Ocean Mode adjusts colors and enhances clarity and detail in underwater photos, resulting in much clearer images. However, you will need a proper waterproof housing designed to withstand water pressure to safely use this feature, as the phone itself is not meant for deep underwater use.

Samsung also allows you to set a timer in this mode, enabling the phone to capture images at intervals of two, five, or ten seconds.
It is likely that Samsung will bring Ocean Mode to more Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series devices in the near future.
