Last month, Samsung expanded the One UI 8.5 beta program to many devices. One of them was the Galaxy S25 FE. Now, the brand has released the second beta version of the new software for the phone.
At the moment, Samsung seems to be rolling out One UI 8.5 Beta 2 for the Galaxy S25 FE in its home country, South Korea. The update bringing it carries firmware version ZZD5 (via Samsung Community).
The second beta version of One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy S25 FE brings nine changes, and they are the same changes the ninth beta version of One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy S25 offers. It also brings the April 2026 security patch, which fixes 47 security issues present in the previous version of the OS. You can check out the official changelog below.
We expect Samsung to release One UI 8.5 Beta 2 for the Galaxy S25 FE in other eligible countries, including India, the UK, and the US, in the next few hours, or at most, in a day or two. To check its availability, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. On a related note, Samsung has already started developing One UI 9.0 (Android 17).
