This marks the first time a Galaxy A series device is receiving the One UI 8.5 beta update. It is also notable that three-year-old Galaxy devices are being included in the beta program.
The beta program will be available in India, South Korea, the UK, and the US for the Galaxy S23 series (including the Galaxy S23 FE). The Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will get the beta update only in South Korea and the USA. The Galaxy A36 will get the One UI 8.5 beta update only in India.
Samsung says it plans to expand the One UI 8.5 Beta Program to additional devices in the future.
