Will the Galaxy A57 be available in the USA? Google just solved the mystery

When it comes to the Galaxy A5x series, you can never be too sure of Samsung's launch plans for the US market. One of the last two Galaxy A phones the company released skipped the United States entirely, which makes every new model a question mark. So, what about the upcoming Galaxy A57?

Until recently, there hasn't been much solid evidence either way. There were no carrier listings, no regulatory filings that clearly pointed to a US launch, and no official hints from Samsung. In other words, the usual silence that keeps speculation alive.

Now, however, things are starting to look far more encouraging. A US variant of the Galaxy A57 does exist, and it has surfaced in the Google Play Console.

Predictably, the US-bound Galaxy A57 carries the model number SM-A576U1. The U1 suffix indicates a factory-unlocked variant, which virtually confirms that Samsung USA will sell the unlocked A57 through its online shop.

The Google Play Console listing does not reveal much beyond confirmation of the model itself. However, Samsung rarely fragments the Galaxy A5x lineup by region when it comes to core hardware, so the US model is expected to mirror the global version.

Previous leaks point to a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display and the Exynos 1680 chipset under the hood, positioning the A57 as a familiar but refined mid-range contender.

Less surprising, but still noteworthy, is that the Galaxy A57 is not alone. Its more affordable sibling, the Galaxy A37, has also been spotted in the Google Play Console with a US-bound model number: SM-A376U1.

This strengthens the idea that both phones could be released on the same date, possibly even in the USA, where Galaxy A5x phones usually arrive later. For now, nothing is officially confirmed. But thankfully, these early signs suggest that US buyers may not be left out this time.
