Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S26 series later this month. However, ahead of the official unveiling, a detailed look at the Galaxy S26 Ultra has already emerged. A short video revealing the upcoming phone’s design has been leaked.
Reliable tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) has shared a press render of what appears to be the purple variant of the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The image and an accompanying GIF offer a closer look at the device’s large display and quad camera setup on the rear.
The rear camera system now appears to feature a vertical, pill-shaped island that houses three camera sensors. The fourth camera sensor, along with the laser autofocus unit and LED flash, is positioned outside this island. A similar camera island design was previously seen on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 released last year.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumored to include a 200MP primary rear camera with optical image stabilization, a 50MP ultrawide camera with autofocus, a 12MP telephoto camera with OIS and 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS and 5x optical zoom. On the front, it is expected to retain the same 12MP selfie camera used in its predecessor.
Earlier, it was rumored that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have built-in magnets for Qi2 wireless charging. However, it was revealed yesterday that it doesn't have built-in magnets, and you have rely on cases with magnets inside them to use the phone with Qi2-compatible chargers and accessories.
