Samsung launches Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition

For the past few years, Samsung has launched an Olympic edition of one of its flagship smartphones at almost every Olympic Games, offering it for free to every athlete participating in the event. Well, the brand is doing the same for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 with the Galaxy Z Flip 7.

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympics Edition for the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. The company will offer it for free to all the athletes participating in the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. It says that there will be around 3,800 Olympians and Paralympians from 90 countries.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition's sides, hinge, and the rings on the rear cameras are painted in a golden color, which “symbolizes athletes’ pursuit of excellence and podium moments.” Whereas the back of the device has a shade of blue, which “aligns with the unique style of Milano Cortina 2026,” with Samsung and Olympic branding on it. However, those aren't the only things differentiating it from the standard model.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition also comes with a different retail box. It shows the special edition phone and has Samsung and Olympic branding. Inside the box, Samsung is offering a case with a blue magnetic ring on the back (for it to be compatible with magnetic accessories) that goes hand-in-hand with the phone's look. It also comes with a “special Olympic Winter Games–themed wallpaper created specifically for Milano Cortina 2026.“

Samsung is offering the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition pre-loaded with a few “apps and services to support athletes throughout Milano Cortina 2026.” That includes the Olympic Games, Athlete365, Pinquest apps, and the IOC Hotline. The Athlete365 app is integrated into Galaxy AI's Now Brief, which will keep “athletes updated with the latest Olympic Games-related news at a glance on FlexWindow.” Lastly, the tech giant will provide the phone with an eSIM offering 100GB of 5G data.
