Samsung launched the world's largest 115-inch Micro RGB TV earlier this year. It was made available to customers in the United States at an eye-watering price tag of $30,000.
As the company gears up to offer more affordable versions of the TV, it's also going to showcase an even larger model, measuring a massive 130-inch.
According to reports, Samsung is going to unveil the ultra-large 130-inch Micro RGB TV at the Consumer Electronics Show 2026 next month.
As competition in the Micro RGB segment heats up next year with other vendors throwing their hat in the ring, Samsung wants to showcase its technological prowess by highlighting a truly massive premium TV.
This 130-inch Micro RGB model will reportedly be installed at Samsung's The First Look exhibition space at The Wynn, Las Vegas, during CES 2026. The company has already confirmed that it's going to launch the Micro RGB TV in more sizes, which will significantly lower the price tag.
The new models will be available in 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, 85-inch, and 100-inch sizes. The 115-inch model will continue to be available. It's unclear whether Samsung actually intends to sell the monster 130-inch Micro RGB TV.
It could just be that Samsung wants to showcase its command over the Micro RGB technology with this model. It becomes difficult to achieve quality and performance at such large sizes, given issues uneven light distribution and color shift. Thermal management also becomes a major concern.
Either way, it will serve as a notice to all its rivals that Samsung isn't playing around when it comes to Micro RGB, and it fully intends to stamp its authority on the segment.
