Samsung blesses Galaxy S25 FE with December 2025 security update

Samsung is rolling out the December 2025 security patch to the Galaxy S25 FE in Korea. It fixes 57 security issues.

A little while ago, we reported that Samsung is rolling out the December 2025 security patch to the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. Well, the brand has now released the latest security patch for their distant cousin, the Galaxy S25 FE.

At the moment, the company is offering it in its home country, South Korea. The update carries firmware version S731NKSS3AYKG and is 344.76MB in size (via Samsung Community). The latest security patch fixes 57 security vulnerabilities.

After releasing an update in Korea, Samsung usually starts offering it in other regions around the world a few days later. To check if Samsung has released the December 2025 security patch for the Galaxy S25 FE in your region, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Samsung is expected to open the beta program for its next version of One UI for Galaxy smartphones and tablets, One UI 8.5, soon. The Galaxy S25 series users may get the first dibs on it. However, there’s no information on whether the Galaxy S25 FE users will also be among them.
