A few days ago, Samsung started rolling out the November 2025 security patch to Galaxy Watch models. The brand first offered it for the Galaxy Watch 8, and now, the company has released the latest security update for its predecessor, the Galaxy Watch 7.

Samsung is currently rolling out the update in South Korea. The tech giant has made the update available for Galaxy Watch 7's non-cellular as well as cellular variants. The update is 164.59MB in size and carries firmware version BYK1 (via @ya_sking12767).

We expect Samsung to release the update in other regions in the next few days. To check if Samsung has made the update available for your device, as well as to download and install it, open the Wearable app on your phone and navigate to Watch settings > Watch software update > Download and install.

In the meantime, you may want to take a look at our video below, where we discuss the upgrades that Samsung's next version of One UI for Galaxy smartphones and tablets, One UI 8.5, offers over One UI 8.0 with regard to Quick Panel. The brand is expected to debut it with the Galaxy S26 series in February 2026.
