Last week, a report about Samsung’s next lineup of flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S26 series, shed light on the dimensions of all three phones in the lineup, revealing that two of the three devices will be thinner than their predecessors. Well, today we have information on their weight as well, and there's some good news.
On X, a popular tipster, @UniverseIce, has posted an image listing the dimensions and thicknesses of the Galaxy S26 series and comparing it with Apple's iPhone 17 lineup. According to them, the Galaxy S26 weighs 164 grams, the Galaxy S26+ weighs 191 grams, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra weighs 214 grams.
It means that the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Ultra will be 2 grams and 4 grams lighter than their predecessors, respectively, but the Galaxy S26+ will be 1 gram heavier than the model it succeeds. The tipster points out that all three phones will be thinner and lighter than Apple’s iPhone 17 series.
In September, a leak about the Galaxy S26 Ultra claimed that the phone weighs 217 grams. So, there’s some conflicting information on the phone’s weight. Hopefully, we will see more leaks on the matter soon, which may clear the confusion.
Earlier today, we learned that Samsung may not offer the Galaxy S26 series with higher memory or storage capacities. It will, however, equip them with faster memory, which should offer significantly improved camera performance.
