Earlier this month, Samsung released the One UI 8 Watch update for the Galaxy Watch 7. However, the brand had released the update only to the non-cellular (Wi-Fi-only) variant of the smartwatch. Now, the company is expanding it to the cellular variant as well.
On Reddit, a user says that they have received the One UI 8 Watch update on their Galaxy Watch 7 with LTE connectivity. They have also shared a screenshot of the update. As you can see in the image below, the update is 1,920.75MB in size and carries firmware version L315FXXU1BYI4.
Along with One UI 8 Watch, which is based on Wear OS 6, the update also brings the September 2025 security patch, which fixes many security issues. The user hasn’t revealed in which region they live. However, considering that the content in the screenshot is in English, we assume that the update is live internationally.
To get the update, open the Wearable app on your smartphone, go to Watch settings > Watch software update > Download and install. Once the device downloads the new firmware, it will show you the Install now option. Tap on it to install the update. One UI 8 Watch brings a plethora of changes that you can check out in our video below.
