Samsung's Odyssey OLED G6 500Hz gaming monitor goes on sale in the UK

Samsung announced the world's first OLED gaming monitor with a monster 500Hz refresh rate, the Odyssey OLED G6, earlier this year. It has gradually been making it available for sale in markets across the globe.

Following its launch in South Korea, the United States, and various other countries, Samsung has now confirmed that the Odyssey OLED G6 has gone on sale in the United Kingdom.

The 27-inch Odyssey OLED G6 monitor boasts an ultra-fast 0.03ms response time. It has 2,560 x 1440 QHD resolution with the QD-OLED panel featuring a class-leading 500Hz refresh rate.

The monitor is certified with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 to deliver exceptionally deep blacks. The color reproduction is rich and vivid, while the NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support ensures tear-free smooth visuals, providing gamers with a real competitive edge.

Gamers will also appreciate the peak brightness of 1,000 nits. Samsung has also applied its Glare Free technology to the panel, ensuring minimal screen reflections. OLED Safeguard+ protects the panel to mitigate the risk of burn-in even after extended gaming sessions.

Customers in the United Kingdom can now purchase the Odyssey OLED G6 through Samsung.com and select retail partners for £799.
