Last month, Samsung unveiled a new high-end gaming monitor, the Odyssey G7 G75F. Well, the brand has finally launched it. For now, the company is offering it only in Malaysia.
Samsung has launched the Odyssey G7 G75F in one size, and that is 37-inch. However, the tech giant says that it will soon launch the 40-inch variant, which it teased earlier, very soon.
Samsung has priced the Odyssey G7 G75F 37-inch at RM 4,399 (approximately USD 1,039), and is selling it via the official online website. It should also be available through authorised offline and online repairs. So, what does it offer? Well, let’s take a look.
The Samsung Odyssey G7 G75F features a 37-inch VA panel with 1000R curvature, 3,840 x 2,160 pixels resolution, 165Hz refresh rate with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and 1ms response time, a 3,000:1 contrast ratio, 90% coverage of DCI color gamut, 99% coverage of sRGB color gamut, a 350 cd/m2 typical brightness. The monitor comes with VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification. Unfortunately, it doesn’t support G-Sync.
The Samsung Odyssey G7 G75F has 2x HDMI 2.1 ports, 1x DisplayPort 1.4 port, 2x USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and 1x USB Type-B port. Its stand is adjustable for height, tilt, and pivot. Other features include Auto Source Switch+, Black Equaliser, and Picture-in-Picture. It also haas an RGB lighting on the back with CoreSync and CoreLighting+. We expect the brand to launch it in other regions in the next few weeks.
Note that the 40-inch variant has vastly different specifications, including higher curvature, resolution, and refresh rate, which you can check out here.
