According to Samsung, four out of five Smart Monitor buyers in South Korea are buying it with its Moving Stand. This data is from the fourth quarter of last year (2024). Since the launch of the Moving Stand, its sales have increased five times due to the flexibility it offers.
Using this stand, people can move their Smart Monitor between their workroom and bedroom, depending on their needs. Since Smart Monitors have Tizen OS and all popular music and video streaming apps, people can use the Smart Monitor with the Moving Stand to move it to their living room or bedroom to stream music and movies.
Apparently, younger buyers, such as single people or newlyweds, are preferring the Moving Stand for their Smart Monitor. Samsung has created a separate webpage called Moving Style, where people can customize and research Smart Monitors and Moving Stands.
Smart Monitors are available in three 4K resolution models (M1, M7, and M8) and in one Full HD resolution model (M5). Buyers can combine those monitors with Moving Stand in three sizes: 27 inches, 32 inches, and 43 inches.
The Moving Stand is available in black and white colors. It also has a special version with a shelf where people can place speakers. They can also buy the Moving Stand combined with Harman Kardon speakers or JBL headphones and get additional discount.
A Samsung Electronics official said, “As the number of consumers who want to choose products that fit their tastes and lifestyles increases, the popularity of moving styles that allow for various combinations is increasing. We will continue to strive to present products and services that fit the tastes and usability of customers.”
