February will be a great month for sports fans. Not only is the Super Bowl scheduled for February 13, but the 2022 Winter Olympic Games will also be held from February 4 until the 20th of the month. And as a Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, Samsung has launched a couple of web portals dedicated to winter sports fans that are unable to attend the Olympic games in person. That virtually means everyone, as only a few groups of local spectators will be allowed in the stands (via BBC).

The Korean tech giant has launched a new web portal dedicated to the Beijing 2022 games called Samsung Galaxy Media Center. The website uses 360-degree images similar to Google Maps Street View and allows visitors to check different areas of the virtual space. They include a Press Center with relevant news, an Olympic & Paralympic Heritage Wall, a Galaxy device virtual showroom that lets you explore high-quality 3D renders of devices such as the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3, and more.

Samsung's new portal even contains renders of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 Beijing Edition, the latter of which features a golden frame and white back panels. You can check and explore the Samsung Galaxy Media Center here.

Samsung enables you to cheer Olympians remotely

In addition to the Media Center linked above, Samsung has released another website dedicated to the 2022 Winter Olympic Games. The Chinese government restricts public access to the 2022 Winter Games due to COVID, so, Samsung has released the #CheerTogether initiative to keep the Olympic spirit burning in the hearts of Winter Games fans.

In short, the website allows visitors to cheer for athletes remotely via their Twitter account, send emotes, and read messages and cheers from other people live. There's even a ‘Hear the global cheer' play button and a list of tweets containing the #CheerTogether hashtag.
