To use Bixby Text Call, tap the button with the same name on the incoming call screen. Bixby will inform the caller that you are using an automated voice.
The caller's voice will be transcribed to text on your phone's screen, and your text messages will be converted to voice by Bixby.
You can also view a history of your Bixby text call logs by accessing the Phone app, going to “Recents,” selecting a call log, tapping the information “i” icon, and tapping the speech bubble to review the full call transcript.
In India, the Bixby Text Call feature is available only in English.
Mihai is a blogger and column writer at SamMobile. His first Samsung phone was an A800 which took a lot of beating, and a part of him still misses the novelty of the clamshell design. In his free time, he enjoys watching shows, documentaries, and stand-up comedy; listening to music, taking walks, and occasionally playing old(er) video games.
