A few days ago, the possible design of the Galaxy A15 was leaked, and it was rumored to be the 5G version of the phone. Now, it appears that the Galaxy A15 will also come in a 4G LTE version, and a new leak reveals some of its specifications, including its operating system version and its processor.

The Galaxy A15 (with model number SM-A155F) was spotted in Geekbench's database (via MySmartPrice). Going by its model number, the phone will lack 5G connectivity. The device appears to be running Android 14 and has 4GB of RAM. It also appears to feature an octa-core processor with two CPU cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six CPU cores clocked at 2GHz. This is likely the MediaTek Helio G99 processor, which is also used in some other Samsung devices.

The upcoming affordable smartphone scored 743 points in the Geekbench 6 single-core CPU performance test and 2,005 points in the multi-core CPU performance test. Since it comes with Android 14 out of the box, it will likely feature One UI 6.0 and get at least two major Android OS updates.

Previous leaks have claimed that the Galaxy A15 will have a 6.4-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution and an Infinity-U-shaped notch. The upcoming phone will likely launch in the next few months and have a triple-camera setup on the rear. It could also have a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint reader embedded into its power button. It will have a plastic body that is 8.4mm thin.
