South Korean giant Samsung has unveiled the 89-inch MicroLED TV for the first time in China. The unveiling of the 89-inch MicroLED  TV took place at the Appliance & Electronics World Expo 2023 (AWE 2023) in China. This is China's largest and one of the world's three major consumer electronics shows.

AWE 2023 is currently being held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) from April 27 to 30. In this industry fair, companies will display their premium products to help match the trends of the Chinese market. About 1,200 global companies are taking part in this event, and Samsung, being one of them, has introduced its 89-inch MicroLED TV for Chinese consumers.

Last year, Samsung launched its 110-inch MicroLED model in China and received favorable reviews from experts as well as consumers. This year, the company introduced the 89-inch model and plans to extend the MicroLED lineup with 76, 101, and 114-inch models.

The MicroLED TV launched at the event in China has no bezel and therefore provides one of the most immersive viewing experiences possibly on televisions. Apart from the 89-inch MicroLED, Samsung also displayed its NEO QLED, OLED, and Lifestyle TVs, Bespoke Life Appliances, and the immensely popular Galaxy S23 series.

The vice president of Samsung Electronics Visual Display Business Department, Kim Chul-ki, said, “At AWE 2023, China’s largest consumer electronics exhibition, we were able to showcase Samsung TV technology through various products such as Micro LED, NEO QLED, and OLED. We are going to dominate the super-premium TV market in China.
