Tech YouTube channel TechBar has published a review of the Galaxy F14 5G. The video reveals the phone has a 6.6-inch PLS LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by the Exynos 1330 processor, 4GB/6GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. It has a 13MP selfie camera, a 50MP primary rear camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The phone can record Full HD 30fps videos using front and rear cameras.
The device comes with Android 13-based One UI 5.1 pre-installed, and Samsung promises two major Android OS updates and four years of security updates for the Galaxy F14 5G. The phone has no charger in the box, but its 6,000mAh battery can be fast-charged at 25W. It has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, a dual-SIM card slot, a separate microSD card slot, thirteen 5G bands, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
According to the review, the phone performs really well for its price. It scored 4,06,847 points in AnTuTu, much faster than the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1. In Geekbench 6, the phone scored 973 points in the single-core CPU test and 2,159 points in the multi-core CPU test. Under sustained load, the phone's CPU maintained 88% of its peak performance, while the GPU maintained 98.7% of its peak performance.
While gaming, the phone could run Call Of Duty Mobile at Low graphics + Max frame rate or Medium graphics + Very High frame rate. The Galaxy F14 5G reportedly ran Call Of Duty Mobile at around 60fps frame rate. In PUBG New State, the phone could activate 90fps mode, but it could sustain around 50-60fps frame rates. The reviewer also praised the phone's image and video quality through the front and rear cameras.
According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the Galaxy F14 5G will come with a price tag of INR 15,000 (around $150) in India. If this claim is correct, the Galaxy F14 5G could be among the best-selling phones in the price segment in India. The device could make it to other surrounding countries.
