I've protected my Galaxy S8+ with a Spigen Rugged Armor case, but it feels almost criminal to hide such a beautiful phone in a case. So, what's the solution? Well, sapphire glass is said to be stronger than Gorilla Glass, but it costs a bomb and isn't available in a capacity that would make it viable enough to be used as a Gorilla Glass 5 replacement. However, if Samsung decided to make a sapphire glass variant of the Galaxy S8, would you be willing to spend extra money to buy that variant for the assurance that the glass on the device won't crack as easily it does right now?

Results: The results are in, and most readers who took part in this poll are ready to pay more for a stronger and sturdier Galaxy S8 or S8+. Going by the poll results, 65% of the readers who casted their votes are ready to pay more even though some of our readers doubt the viability of sapphire glass as a solution. The remaining 35% of voters are not ready to pay more even if the phones are less susceptible to physical damage.
