Samsung pushes out new battery maintenance update for the Gear S2

If you're the proud owner of a Gear S2, you may want to listen up as Samsung has just started pushing out a pretty important maintenance update to all variants of the device located in the United Kingdom and United States. The upgrade itself carries the version number R730TUVU1AOL3 and bundles some essential battery life optimizations as well as the standard slew of bug fixes and stability improvements.

To install the update on your Gear S2, you're going to need to launch the Samsung Gear application on your smartphone, then navigate into Settings, locate and select About Gear and tap the Update Gear button. You will then notice a small icon appear in your notification tray indicating that the upgrade has started downloading and sideloading onto your smartwatch.
