The South Korean electronics giant managed to get 20.1 percent of votes, defeating Sony (9.6), Apple (9.5), Adidas (8.5), and Nike (8). The survey was conducted in cities each with a population of at least a million residents and answered by more than 1500 participants. Samsung received 18.2 percent of votes last year, which goes on to show that its popularity has increased this year.
The company received 31.2 percent votes in the mobile phone segment, and ranked first for three consecutive years. In the audio and video segment, Samsung topped the chart for the fifth consecutive year with 39 percent votes, while it received 33.5 percent of votes in the tablet segment.
