Work underway for global expansion of Samsung Pay

Samsung's new payment service was unveiled earlier this year and it first went live in South Korea, just last month it also arrived for customers in the United States. Samsung has said time and again that it's going to expand Samsung Pay to more markets across the globe, focusing on Europe and China immediately, a report out of China reveals that work is underway at the company for global expansion of Samsung Pay.

The company has reportedly transferred dozens of foreign language specialists from each division to the wireless business division planning team via personnel appointments on October 15, in order to flexibly manage its workforce Samsung does personnel appointments on the 1st and 15th of every month. Prior to being shuffled in the company these employees went through four intensive training programs related to Samsung Pay at the company headquarters in Seocho, this is certainly the first step towards eventual global expansion of Samsung Pay. Samsung is believed to be in final stage of negotiations with UnionPay, China's largest card provider, a deal will pave the way for its payments service to launch in the People's Republic.
