Galaxy Tab S 10.5 gets Android 5.0.2 in France
The Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update is being rolled out today by Samsung for the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 Wi-Fi (SM-T800) in France. Just last month we provided our readers with an exclusive look at Android 5.0.2 for the Galaxy Tab S. Samsung will release it over-the-air which means that users should receive an automatic notification on their device when the update is available for them to download. The firmware T800XXU1BOCC brings all of the important safety and security related fixes that Google made in Android 5.0.2. It carries a build date of March 17, 2015.
Galaxy Tab S 10.5 owners in France can check for the update by heading to Menu >> Settings >> About device >> Software update >> Update on their device. The update can also be installed through KIES. Android 5.0.2 for the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 Wi-Fi is available for download through our firmware section.

we have the latest smart phone of samsung inthe market and didnt get new android version
all of you should know how long it takes Samsung to do upgrades by now! I previously had a Galaxy Note 10.1 (GT-N8000) the original I don’t think it ever got upgraded beyond 4.2.2!

This may sound stupid, but I’m going to give it a shot and I’ll let you know-
There’s a Tab S Port of KitKat 4.4.2 for the Note 10.1 2014 (SM-P600 & SM-P601). It’s been a while since I tried it, but I seem to remember it registering my device as a Tab S (SM-T800). I’m going to try reflashing the ROM, use WANAM Xposed to set my device status to “Official”, and see if I can’t download the lollipop update to my Note 10.1 2014 edition.
Yeah… it was stupid. It seemed way too simple to actually work.
Anyways, I’m sure someone will find a way to port it within the next few days.

Mine did the same thing I am not too worried about it! it might just be a left over from the previous version did you notice all the new KNOX stuff?
I think the device status should be Official (not Custom) in order to get the firmware upgrade over Air (OTA). I suggest you to wait until you get the first laked upgrade firemware files. Thanks!!
