TouchWiz on the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge now come without GS3 Nature UX

Samsung brought a new theme to the Galaxy S3 in 2012. Dubbed “Nature UX,” the theme intended to bring the sounds of nature (such as water ripples and whistle sounds) into Samsung’s Galaxy S line – adding a little flavor to the company’s UI.

A lot has happened since 2012, including the fact that Samsung’s Galaxy S3 no longer seems to be en vogue for a number of Galaxy users. As we’ve seen with the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, Samsung “went back to the drawing board and built their phones from the ground up.” The need to appeal to a growing consumer base that didn’t necessarily care for the Galaxy S3 has motivated Samsung to remove the Nature UX sounds and sights from the new S6 models. The company’s move to eliminate any traces of the Galaxy S3 shows that it wants these two new S6 models to attract more than just the Samsung faithful.

While consumers are sure to love the new smartphones, Samsung’s changes bring suspicion about the company’s unique identity in the face of a number of Android smartphones that all provide Google’s Android software (with a few, anemic apps as small add-ons). Analysts and critics emphasize how different these smartphones will be from Samsung’s older lineup, but diehard Samsung fans want to know just how much of the familiar Samsung remains.

The Galaxy S3 was one of the best selling Samsung phones and those sounds were great. Just remember when the s3 was released how many whistles etc you could hear in the train. So why take the good from the s3? Discard it and take stuff from the worst selling of them all the S5.

I don’t care about any familiarity of samsung. I am buying the s6 edge because its completely different. Not because i’m looking for familiarity.

I used from Galaxy S and now I’m Using the S5 duos … i never cared about the UX and its sounds ….. but i do demand the over horizon music should be available because that is the only annoying thing which makes me to wake up on time … 😛

Even the Samsung faithful couldn’t handle that ridiculously painful nature UX sounds.

“Plop, pop, flop,” First thing every Samsung user does is turn that rubbish off.

I like Samsung devices but those sounds would give me aneurysms. The only Samsung-default sound I can stand is the Note 4 version of Over the Horizon, but only because it’s the only thing that can wake me up early in the morning LOL

I have had a lot of Samsung phones from the Galaxy S2 all the way to the S4 and now the Note 4… I will be buying the Galaxy S6 on the release date and I don’t care how much has changed on the Galaxy S6, as long as it it is as quick as promised I don’t care.
