Following in the footsteps of rivals AT&T and T-Mobile who have already released this update for the aforementioned devices, Sprint is rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Galaxy Note Edge and the Galaxy Note 3 today. The ball is now rolling which means even if the update notification hasn't popped up on your device yet it shouldn't take too long to arrive.

The Lollipop update for the Galaxy Note Edge and the Galaxy Note 3 on Sprint weighs in at just south of 1GB, so remember to get on a pretty decent Wi-Fi network before you start downloading the update. It brings everything that you've come to expect from Lollipop including but not limited to new features and a UI revamp courtesy of Material Design. Sprint is rolling out the update for both devices in phases and it may take a few hours to go live across all regions. Users can try manually checking for update through the Settings app as well.
