There have already been countless reports suggesting that the Galaxy S26 launch will be a bit later than previously expected.
A new rumor claims that the wait for the device to actually hit shelves may be longer still, with customers having to sit tight possibly until March next year.
Samsung has typically unveiled its new Galaxy S flagships in January every year. The device is then released by early February. Countless reports have appeared over the past few weeks claiming that the launch event will be held in February next year.
It wasn't clear if the event would be in early or late February. Samsung could potentially have released the device in the same month if the event took place in the first week of February, or even in the second week at the latest.
According to a rumor on X, the Galaxy S26 won't actually be released until March 2026. This suggests that the launch event could take place towards the end of the month, thus pushing the actual release into the following month.
There's still no confirmation from Samsung about the launch event for the Galaxy S26 series, so we'll likely continue to hear some rumors about this well into the new year. If an event is indeed being held in January, which now seems rather unlikely, a confirmation should arrive within the next couple of weeks.
Samsung is expected to hold the first Unpacked event of next year to unveil the Galaxy S26 series in San Francisco.
