Samsung wins CES 2026 awards for Fold 7, Galaxy XR, Watch 8 and more

CES 2026 will take place in Las Vegas from January 6-9, and you can be sure that Samsung will be present. In fact, today, Samsung announced that it has already won multiple CES 2026 Innovation Awards for bold products and services released this year.

Samsung won awards across a variety of categories, including TV and commercial screens, monitors, audio solutions, memory products, digital appliances, wearables, phones, and, of course, the brand new Galaxy XR headset.

Samsung hasn't revealed the full list of award-winning products. It saved it for January 4, 2026. However, the company did list several CES 2026 Innovation Award Honorees and the CES 2026 Best of Innovation Award Winner.

The latter award goes to Samsung's S3SSE2A, which is the industry's first embedded security chip to boast hardware-based Post-Quantum Cryptography.

As for the CES 2026 Innovation Award Honorees, these include:

Galaxy XR: The first Android XR headset. The headset may see an international release next year.

Galaxy Z Fold 7: The thinnest foldable. Also, Samsung's lightest and most durable foldable phone.

Galaxy Watch 8 series: Both the Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic earned awards for their sleek designs and new features like Running Coach, Bedtime Guidance, Vascular Load, and Antioxidant Index.

PM9E1 M.2 22×42: The world's first PCIe Gen5 SSD in an ultra-compact M.2 form factor, designed for AI PCs.

Detachable AutoSSD: This is the industry's fastest auto-grade storage technology for mass production, built for demanding in-vehicle environments.

LPDDR6 memory: The next-gen memory solution engineered to meet demands for faster, more powerful AI.

ISOCELL HP5: The smallest 200MP image sensor for mobile devices.

T7 Resurrected: The Samsung T7 Resurrected portable SSD has a body case crafted from 100% recycled aluminum.

As mentioned above, these are only a few of the CES 2026 Award Honorees, and Samsung will unveil more at CES next year.

Samsung says that these awards reinforce its vision of creating a seamless ecosystem that enhances convenience, creativity, and accessibility.
