Samsung vows to organically integrate AI into all its devices in 2026

Samsung thinks AI fundamentally changes how people think and work. It aims to use AI across its devices and services.

Samsung was the world's first brand to bring a suite of AI-powered features to its smartphones and tablets. It also brought AI features to its home appliances and TVs. However, sometimes, AI features could feel forced. To address this, Samsung has vowed to organically integrate AI features into its devices.

Samsung Electronics' ‘2026 New Year's Address' message was recently delivered by Jeon Young-hyun (the head of the semiconductor chips division) and TM Roh (the president and CEO of the consumer devices division).

TM Roh said that the company needs to orgranically integrate AI technology to all devices and services to provide consumers with the best possible experience. The company believes that by doing this, it can leap forward as a leading company in AI transformation.

The South Korean firm believes that AI isn't just a tool but a process that fundamentally alters how people think and work. TM Roh encouraged Samsung Device eXperience (DX) employees to leverage AI to transform their mindsets and work methods for improved productivity and speed.

The company also encouranged its employees to sense market changes faster and to respond to challenges with flexibility. It also aims to improve its crisis response and secure its market leadership.

Samsung is the world's only ‘one-stop solution' for all kinds of chips

Young Hyun Jun, who was appointed as the head of Samsung's Device Solutions (DS) division, said Samsung is the only company in the world that offers a one-stop solution for advanced chip packaging, chip foundry, logic chips, and memory chips.

He said in the company's New Year address that Samsung will leverage its strength to respond to unprecedented demand for semiconductor chips in the AI era.

Employees of the DS division were also encouraged to take the help of AI and use high-quality data to develop AI solutions for its semiconductor clients. The company vows to use AI across research and development, design, manufacturing, and quality assessment phases.
