A few days ago, Samsung released the One UI 8.0 (Android 16) rollout schedule for Korea. The first set of devices was supposed to get it in the week of 25 September 2025, which they did, and the second set of devices is supposed to get it in the week of 2 October 2025. However, many devices scheduled for 2 October 2025 got the update today, and now, the Galaxy A35 is joining that list.
That’s right. Samsung is rolling out the stable version of One UI 8 to the Galaxy A35. The update is live in Korea. It carries firmware version A356NKSU5CYI8 (via Samsung's Community forum). To get the update, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install.
One UI 8 offers a new user interface in a few places, which not only makes it look cleaner, more organised, and more sophisticated but also makes it easier to use. It also brings many new features, including those for camera, communication, exchanging files, tracking health and fitness, multitasking, productivity, privacy, and security. You can check them out here in our video below.
According to Samsung’s One UI 8 rollout schedule for Brazil and India, the brand will offer the new software to the Galaxy A35 in those regions in October. That’s when the company should offer it in other regions too. However, considering that the brand is running ahead of schedule in Korea, we believe it will offer the One UI 8 update to the Galaxy A35 in other regions sooner than it has promised.
