Samsung News now delivers stocks and sports insights powered by Yahoo

Samsung News has become a lot more useful for sports fans and investors. The company today announced that its News app will now show up-to-the-minute sports scores and financial market information.

The service will be powered by Yahoo Media Group which runs the highly useful Yahoo Sports and Yahoo Finance resources. The information will be available through dedicated sections in Samsung News.

Starting today, users will find a dedicated Sports tab in Samsung News as well as a standalone stock market module, making it very easy to keep an eye on your favorite teams' score and your portfolio within the app.

Users will also be able to access additional content such as breaking news, expert market insights, written and video sports coverage, and more. All of this will be seamlessly available to users within the Samsung ecosystem.

Investors will particularly love the real-time financial information that tracks major U.S. indices and more. The live quotes will be shown alongside a curated stream of financial headlines from leading news sources so that users always remain in the loop.

This new integration is rolling out to Samsung News through the new app update that's available in the United States and Canada today. It will be available in more markets and languages soon. All Galaxy smartphones and tablets released from 2023 onward are supported.
