Samsung was expected to launch the brand’s first smartphone with a tri-folding display, the Galaxy Z TriFold, at the Galaxy Event on 21 October 2025, alongside the Galaxy XR. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. Now, the company is expected to launch it at the APEC 2025 summit, which will be live from 31 October 2025 to 1 November 2025.
According to previous reports about the Galaxy Z TriFold, Samsung will launch it in China, South Korea, and the UAE. Reportedly, the brand is also considering offering the product in the US. Well, a popular tipster claims that the latter may not be true.
On X, Evan Blass claims that Samsung will launch the brand’s first phone with a tri-folding display in China, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and the UAE. According to him, the company may not release the device in any other regions around the world.
In other words, the tipster suggests that Samsung may not launch the Galaxy Z TriFold in the US. That could be a huge blow for all the people in the country looking forward to the device. That being said, we think there aren’t many people planning on getting it.
Fortunately, we don’t have to wait too long to know for sure, as the launch is only a few days away. As for what the phone will offer, you can check out its leaked and expected specifications here.
