Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy S25 FE today. When it seems that everything just keeps getting more expensive, Samsung's done everyone a solid with its pricing strategy for the new flagship-adjacent smartphone.

There was an expectation that the Galaxy S25 FE was going to cost more than its predecessor, but that's not the case.

Galaxy S25 FE hasn't received a price increase

Samsung hasn't increased prices for the Galaxy S25 FE and the new handset starts at the same price as its predecessor. The company has confirmed that the Galaxy S25 FE starts at 649 GBP and 749 Euro in the UK and Europe, respectively.

That's for the 128GB variant. The 256/512GB variants are priced at 699/809 and 819/929 respectively. While Samsung US hasn't confirmed pricing at this stage, there's a good chance that the Galaxy S25 FE is also going to have the same starting price as last year, at $649 for the base model.

Customers wouldn't really have been pleased with another price hike this year considering that the Galaxy S24 FE did get an increase in some markets last year. A second consecutive price increase for a device that's meant to deliver near-flagship performance at an affordable price point would go against the very reason for this device's existence.

Samsung has started selling the Galaxy S25 FE from today in select markets. The handset is available in Icyblue, Jetblack, Navy, and White colors.
