Samsung made everyone wait a long time for the One UI 6.1 update, but the company is now making up for it by bringing multiple new security updates to many devices in quick succession.

Europe gets first dibs on Galaxy A52s June 2024 security update

The Galaxy A52s, the most powerful and well-regarded Galaxy A52 model, is receiving its second security update following One UI 6.1 in some markets. The previous update brought the May 2024 security patch to the phone, and the latest one bumps the security patch level up to June 2024.

The June 2024 security update for the Galaxy A52s is available in several European markets and can be identified by the build number A528BXXS8GXEA. It will likely come to other regions soon, though some users may have to wait as Samsung is still finishing up the One UI 6.1 rollout in a few countries.

Once the latest update goes live in your country, you will be able to download it from the phone's Settings » Software update menu. You can also download Galaxy A52s firmware from SamMobile for manually upgrading to the latest software using a Windows PC.
