Galaxy A33 One UI 6.1 update makes it to Europe

Galaxy A33 owners in Europe can now make the jump to the latest version of One UI. Samsung rolled out the One UI 6.1 update to the Galaxy A33 in select markets less than a week ago, and the update has now arrived in the European continent.

With the European release, the One UI 6.1 rollout for the Galaxy A33 is going global, and we can expect many more countries to receive the update before the month is over. Samsung will hopefully release One UI 6.1 to many other Galaxy A series phones in the near future, though we are keeping our expectations in check considering the leisurely pace the company has taken for the One UI 6.1 update since the beginning.

Galaxy A33 users in Europe can identify the One UI 6.1 update with the build number A336BXXU8EXDC. In addition to all the features, improvements, and changes listed in the changelog, the update is bundled with the April 2024 security patch. As a reminder, Galaxy AI features are not being made available for mid-range smartphones.

You download One UI 6.1 by opening the phone's Settings app, selecting Software update, and tapping Download and install. If you have a Windows PC, you can upgrade your phone's software by downloading the One UI 6.1 firmware from the SamMobile firmware library and installing it using a USB-C cable.
