There's no doubt that Samsung is one of the biggest brands for home appliances in the United States, but have you ever wondered how big? Well, a new market analysis report from TraQline gives us the exact figures.
According to TraQline, in 2023, Samsung was the largest home appliances brand by unit share split. The South Korean tech giant had a market share of 19%, which was followed by General Electric (GE), LG, and Whirlpool, who had a market share of 17%, 16%, and 16% respectively.
The firm also says that last year, Samsung was also the biggest home appliances brand by dollar unit share, having a market share of 21%. It was followed by LG, General Electric (GE), and Whirlpool who had a market share of 19%, 18%, and 15% respectively. That’s not all though.
According to TraQline, Samsung was also the brand people considered the most when buying home appliances, with a consideration rate of 32%. LG, General Electric (GE), and Whirlpool came in second, third, and fourth, with consideration rates of 29%, 28%, and 28% respectively.
Samsung recently launched a new lineup of Bespoke AI home appliances, including the Bespoke 4-Door Flex and Jet Bot Combo, which pack many new and useful features. These products should give Samsung a further boost in the market, helping it to retain its number one position.
