Samsung has started rolling out updates to the Good Lock and Home Up apps for Galaxy smartphones (via 1, 2).
The latest version of Good Lock carries version 3.0.14.2 and fixes an issue where, when you were installing the app from the Galaxy Store and the installation was complete, the app would appear to be installing. The official change log reads “Fixed an issue where the app appeared to be still installing even after installation was complete.”
On the other hand, the latest version of Home Up carries version 17.0.00.48 and brings two changes. First, support for One UI 8 (Android 16) or later. Second, it fixes an issue where, when you were using DIY Home, which is still in the beta stage, the content in widgets appeared larger than it should. The update also “fixed other bugs.“
To update Good Lock and Home Up, go to the Galaxy Store, tap the hamburger menu icon on the top-left corner of the screen, and select Updates. Now, tap on the update icon beside Good Lock and Home Up or the Update All button in the top-right corner of the screen. The updates seem to be available globally.
