Multiple Samsung products bag CES 2024 Innovation Award honors

Samsung has announced that it has received multiple CES 2024 Innovation Award honors. The company's smartphones, wearables, apps, and services have received top honors from the CTA (Consumer Technology Association) for its commitment to creating products and services that show us the future.

Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Watch 6, and Galaxy Buds FE get CES 2024 Innovation Awards

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 has received the CES 2024 Innovation Award in the smartphones and photography segments. It offers great productivity and an innovative Flex Hinge that makes the foldable phone close without any gap. The Galaxy Watch 6 series received the award in the Fitness and Sports category thanks to its personalized health guidance and classic design. The Galaxy Buds FE received the CES 2024 Innovation Award for comfortable design and audio quality.

Samsung Food, Samsung Health, and SmartThings Energy get CES 2024 Innovation Awards

Samsung Health, which gathers health, activity, sleep, and other metrics from the user's Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Fit wearables, has also received the CES 2024 Innovation Award. It was chosen in the Mobile Devices, Accessories & Apps category. Samsung Food, which offers recipe suggestions and preparation methods as per the user's requirements, was awarded in the AI category. It integrates with Samsung's SmartThings Cooking and Family Hub refrigerators.

The company's SmartThings Energy app also received the top honors from CTA in the Smart Home category. It connects with various smart home devices and monitors energy consumption and other patterns, and offers energy-saving suggestions. Samsung's Less Microfiber Filter technology, which is used in its washers and dryers, received the CES 2024 Innovation Award in the Sustainability category.

Samsung's new Exynos Connect U100 also received the award in the Embedded Technologies category. It is a UWB (Ultra Wideband) chip that offers precision distance and location information while consuming very little power. The company also received accolades from the CTA in various other categories, including TVs, projectors, monitors, and home appliances.
