Here's where you can choose the color of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 hinge

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is now official and unlike the original Galaxy Fold which was released in a fairly small number of markets, the sequel is scheduled to hit the shelves in over 40 countries. Even so, customers in some markets are luckier than others as they have the opportunity to pick the color of the Galaxy Z Fold 2’s Hideaway Hinge. Samsung has now revealed that the service will be available in 21 markets.

Hinge color customization to be available in 21 markets

Galaxy Z Fold 2 buyers will have the option to pick one of four colors for the Hideaway Hinge, including Metallic Blue, Metallic Gold, Metallic Red, and Metallic Silver. However, they’ll have this option as long as they buy the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, UAE, UK, USA, and Vietnam. Needless to say, the customize your Hideaway Hinge service is available only for purchases made on Samsung’s official online store.

If you plan on buying a more exclusive Galaxy Z Fold 2 and you can’t customize the color of the hinge in your market, you might still be able to acquire the Galaxy Z Fold 2 Thom Browne Edition. It will be shipping to customers on September 25, whereas the standard Galaxy Z Fold 2 will hit the shelves a week earlier on September 18.
