It has been three months since Samsung released the first beta version of One UI 8 Watch to the Galaxy Watch 7. And people using the smartwatch have been waiting for a couple of months to see the stable update. Now, Samsung has finally started rolling out the stable One UI 8 Watch update.
Earlier today, Samsung started rolling out the Wear OS 6-based stable One UI 8 Watch update for the Galaxy Watch 8. Currently, the update is rolling out to beta testers and should soon be available for other users as well. It comes with firmware version L310XXU1BYI4 and includes the September 2025 security patch.
has a download size of around 160MB for beta testers. For other users, the update will likely have a download size of around 2GB.
If you have a Galaxy Watch 7 and live in South Korea, you can download the update on your smartwatch by opening the Wearable app on your phone and navigating to Watch settings > Watch software update > Download and install. Once the update file is downloaded, tap the Install now button. Your watch will then restart after a few minutes.
This update brings several new features and a brand-new UI design to the Galaxy Watch 7. It brings four new health and fitness features: Antioxidant Index, Bedtime Guidance, Running Coach, and Vascular Load. The update also brings Now Bar to display all ongoing activities, multi-widget Tiles pages, more double pinch gestures, a new charging animation, improved notifications view, a personalized apps screen, and better watch face recommendation.
One UI 8 Watch also brings some new watch faces. You can read all the One UI 8 changes and improvements by clicking here.
