Galaxy S25 FE's first update adds stock prices to Now Bar

Samsung has released the first software update to the Galaxy S25 FE. It upgrades Now Bar to show stock prices.

Samsung is rolling out the first software update to the brand’s latest Fan Edition smartphone, the Galaxy S25 FE, in Asia and Europe. It brings three upgrades.

First, it upgrades Now Bar with Google Finance integration to show the stock price on the lock screen. Second, you get the September 2025 security patch, which fixes many security issues. Third, the update improves the phone’s “behaviour.”

To see stock price updates in Now Bar, add a stock to Google Finance. Now, if there is a major change to the stock price, it will appear in the Now Bar at the end of the trading day. Samsung first offered this feature to the Galaxy Z Fold 7, and going by the Galaxy S25 FE's latest update, it looks like the company will release it to more devices.

The latest update for the Galaxy S25 FE carries firmware version S731BXXU1AYIB and is 560.64MB in size, as you can see in the screenshot above. To get it, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install. Alternatively, you can download the firmware from our database and install it manually using Samsung’s Odin tool.
