Samsung has started rolling out a new software update to the Galaxy S24 FE. It offers the March 2025 security patch.

Samsung has released a new software update to its latest Fan Edition smartphone, the Galaxy S24 FE. It offers the March 2025 security patch, which fixes 58 security issues. It comes right before the upcoming Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update for the device, which the South Korean tech giant will start rolling out on 7 April 2025.
Samsung is rolling out the March 2025 security patch to the international variant of the Galaxy S24 FE, which has the model number SM-S721B. It changes the phone’s firmware version to S721BXXS3AYB3. At the moment, it is live in Europe. We expect Samsung to release it in other regions in the next few days.
There are three ways for you to get the March 2025 security update on your Galaxy S24 FE. First, tap on the notification you might have received about it. If you didn’t, then navigate to Settings » Software update » Download and install. If you don’t see anything, download it from our database and install it using Odin.
As for One UI 7.0, it will bring many improvements to your Galaxy S24 FE. That will include a massively redesigned user interface, new features, and smoother animations.
