When Samsung announced the expansion of the One UI 8.5 Beta Program last week, it revealed that the update would reach more Galaxy devices over time. The company has now taken another step in that direction. After releasing the beta update for the Galaxy A35, Samsung has rolled out the One UI 8.5 beta for the Galaxy S23 FE.
Samsung has opened the One UI 8.5 Beta Program for the Galaxy S23 FE in India. The update carries firmware version S711BXXUEZZD5 and has a download size of around 3.6GB. It also includes the April 2026 security patch, which fixes dozens of vulnerabilities.

If you own a Galaxy S23 FE and live in India, you can enroll your device in the beta program to try the new software. It is a beta software, so it could have a lot of bugs, performance issues, and stability and reliability problems.
To install the beta update, first download the Samsung Members app and sign in with your Samsung account. Then, register your device for the beta program. Once enrolled, go to Settings > Software update and tap Download and install. Once the update is downloaded, tap the Install now button. The phone will then restart after a few minutes.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S23 FE with Android 13, and the device has already received three of the four major Android updates promised. The stable One UI 8.5 update is expected to roll out within the next few weeks.
