Earlier today, Samsung released the stable version of One UI 8.0 (Android 16) to the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. Now, the brand is offering the new software to their distant cousin, the Galaxy S23 FE.
Currently, the stable One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S23 FE is live in Samsung’s home country, South Korea. It carries firmware version S711NKSU9DYI5.
According to Samsung’s One UI 8 rollout schedule for Korea, the brand was supposed to release the update to the Galaxy S23 FE in October. However, the company has released it two days before we enter the month. Considering this and the One UI 8 stable release for the Galaxy Tab S10+, it looks like the tech giant is running ahead of schedule. The brand's One UI 8 rollout schedule for Brazil and India says that the phone will get the new software in October. That's when we expect other regions to get the update too.
One UI 8 brings a few new UI elements that make the software look cleaner, more organised, and modern, and it is easier to use. Plus, it offers new features for the camera, calls, messages, exchanging files, multitasking, tracking health, privacy, productivity, and security. You can check them out in our video below.
To update your Galaxy S23 FE to stable One UI 8, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install.
