Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 8 update to several of its budget Galaxy A-series phone: the Galaxy A24, A17, A16, and A15. The Galaxy A24 is getting the update for the first time, while the LTE variants of the A17, A16, and A15 are now catching up, following the earlier release for their 5G counterparts.
The 5G variants of the Galaxy A15, A16, and A17 were updated to One UI 8 back in early October, so the wait for owners of the LTE variants has been a long one. Still, what matters is that the update is here now, though it will still take a few days for it to go live in every market where the phones were launched.
At the time of writing, all four devices are getting One UI 8 in Korea. The update carries the firmware version A245NKSU7EYK1, A175NKSU1BYK2, A165NKSU3CYK1, and A155NKSU6CYK1 for the A24, A17, A16, and A15 respectively. To download it, users can navigate to the phone's Settings > Software update menu and tap Download and install.
