A photo captured and shared on social media by New York Times reporter Kate Conger last month features Elon Musk's gaming PC, which he installed at his White House office.
Using this photo, PC enthusiasts and gamers have tried to figure out Elon Musk's gaming PC configuration and found some interesting quirks, such as the fact that the GPU Elon uses might not be powerful enough to drive the monitor's maximum resolution in the video games Elon is known to enjoy, i.e., Diablo 4 and Path of Exile 2 (via TweakTown).
Speaking of which, there is almost no doubt about the monitor. Elon Musk uses either a Samsung 49-inch Odyssey OLED G9 or QD-OLED G9 ultra-wide curved monitor. These models have a Dual QHD resolution and a refresh rate of up to 240Hz.
To be fair, nobody knows if Elon Musk is actually playing video games on his PC at the DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) office at the White House. Sure enough, Samsung advertises the Odyssey OLED and QD-OLED G9 as gaming monitors, but Elon Musk could be using his Odyssey for office work just as well.
If you are interested in the 49-inch Odyssey OLED G9, it's actually available on sale right now, and you can get a pretty good deal from Samsung's e-shop in the USA. It's $851 off. The Odyssey QD-OLED is also available at a $700 discount.
